Job Summary:
The Education Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing various educational programs and initiatives within the organization. This role involves managing administrative tasks, collaborating with instructors and staff, and ensuring the smooth operations of educational activities. The Education Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the organization's mission of delivering high-quality education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate educational programs: Plan, organize, and execute educational programs, including workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
2. Collaborate with instructors and staff: Work closely with instructors to develop program content, schedules, and materials. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of educational activities.
3. Manage program logistics: Oversee logistical aspects of educational programs, such as venue selection, equipment setup, and catering arrangements.
4. Monitor program progress: Track and evaluate program performance, providing regular updates to the Director of Education Administration. Identify areas for improvement and recommend appropriate actions.
5. Support program marketing and outreach: Assist in developing marketing strategies and materials to promote educational programs to a wide range of audiences. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure effective program visibility and participation.
6. Maintain program records: Accurately maintain program-related records, including participant information, attendance records, evaluations, and feedback.
7. Handle participant inquiries: Respond promptly and professionally to participant inquiries regarding program details, registration, and other related matters.
8. Assist with budgeting and financial management: Collaborate with the finance department to develop program budgets and monitor expenses, ensuring adherence to allocated budgets.
9. Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of developments and trends in the education sector to make informed decisions and enhance program offerings.
10. Ensure compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to educational programs.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in education coordination or a similar administrative role.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
6. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in managing program records and documentation.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
8. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
9. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations in a professional manner.
10. Knowledge of educational program management principles and practices is preferred.
